We decided to stop in to Coqueta on a whim while running errands in the city and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was very cozy and comfy with beautiful ocean views. We felt a tad underdressed in shorts and tee shirts, but our lovely server Juliana made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Our cocktails were very well balanced and tasty. We ordered the salt and air margarita and the sutter smash (whiskey, apricot purée and cinnamon). Both were excellent. From the pintxo menu we tried the championes (mushroom), & anchovy bites. Both were so good we ordered another round. You would never think to put anchovy and olive with mandarin orange or whatever citrus they used on the skewer but it was delicious. We also tried the truffled honey smoked salmon, black garlic prawns, potato bravas, and duck & pork meatballs. The star of the bunch was definitely the prawns, the flavor was so mouthwateringly good. Be warned they do come head on, so if you're adverse to shrimp eyeballs this might not be the dish for you. But I highly recommend. We weren't the biggest fans of the meatballs unfortunately. The texture was on the mushy side. We ordered it because of the duck but didn't pick up much duck flavor in the meatballs themselves. Lastly we tried the Manchego cheesecake lollipops and they were a nice way to finish a delicious meal. Overall, our first experience at Coqueta was AMAZING and we will definitely be back. It's been on my list of places to visit for years, so I'm glad we finally got to try it.

A great place for tapas after work. Love the view. We got patatas bravas, deviled eggs, salmon, and coqueta. Everything tasted great. Wish they had a better selection of beer available because they ran out of a couple that we wanted. Hope to stop by another time.

Passed by here numerous times & decided to bring a friend here for his birthday. The food proportions are small but delicious. Service was impeccable. The view where we were sitting was delightfully overlooking the water & Treasure Island. Great spot to socialize.

We also had the Ensalda de Kale and a few skewer "Pinxtos". The red sangria... YES please and thank you. If you haven't been in yet - WHY???

Sunday Funday with my wonderful friends at Coqueta. We were delighted with the food and drinks, but the top-notch service and dedication is what really crowned our evening. Alma and her crew are simply amazing and caring. I wished I had taken some beautiful pictures to share, but I was too busy enjoying every appetizer in the menu. Their cava is a must, too. The view of the bay at sunset is spectacular. Make sure you visit them soon, I know we are going back for more in 2 weeks. Thank you, Alma, and all of you at Coqueta.

This place is a phenomenal restaurant in SF. Wish I knew about it sooner! Everything was superb, from the service, ambience, drinks and tapas. I loved how there was just enough for everyone to try, while still not feeling bloated after eating all the items. Every dish was quite unique, unlike other things I've had before. The only dish I probably wouldn't order again was the paella, it was goood but nothing necessarily special to me. I also am not the biggest tomato fan, so that played a factor. I would highly recommend this place if you're out with coworkers (and get the meal paid for, it was a bit more $$), or for a nice, special date to celebrate something, or taking your parents or relatives who are visiting SF.

I was part of the "adventurous women" party of 4 that Andrea R recently wrote about and her review was pretty spot on! We came in on a Wednesday night right on time for our reservation... It was good we had a reservation as the restaurant appeared to be mostly full with a lively crowd. The staff we encountered were all friendly and had great energy! Shout out to Nicholas, our server, who was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we figured out what to order. I had a glass of red sangria and enjoyed it... the others enjoyed white sangria and a cocktail or two. For food, we went with kale salad, deviled eggs, salmon ahumado, a seabass entree, and a paella. My favorite item of all was the salmon ahumado. Don't miss it! Everything else was good, but if/when I return, I'll likely make a meal of that salmon! If you're seeking a fun atmosphere, Spanish tapas style food and drink, you can't go wrong with Coqueta!
